This routine will generate PPI impressions for the new services introduced by the Royal Mail in April 2013.
Royal Mail have included a PPI generator on their website which includes the required "Delivered by Royal Mail" insignia but several people have complained that it produces impressions too wide for practical use.
According to RM's Clear Addressing Guidelines, the "Delivered by" insignia doesn't have to be included as part of the PPI impression as long as it appears on the front of the package.
This routine generates images with an optional return address and the insignia below the actual PPI impression which, when scaled to 60.5mm wide (as per the guidelines), will fit onto a standard 63.5 x 38.1mm label (21 labels per A4 sheet, Avery equivalent J8160).
Please note: While we have used the "blank" PPI impressions produced by Royal Mail as the basis for this routine, the images generated are not endorsed or approved by Royal Mail, please satisfy yourself that they are suitable for your requirements before using them. We provide no warranty for suitability and will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage, consequential or otherwise, arising from the use of images generated by this routine.
Images need to be scaled to a width of 60.5mm when printed to satisfy Royal Mail Guidelines for the "2 Component, Design 1" impressions.
